We all have a nervous system. Learning to regulate the nervous system through the evidence-based Community Resiliency Model (CRM) wellness skills can be life changing as people learn to bring their own system back into balance and then share skills with their families and communities. CRM skills can become a common language that can assist in connecting people to understanding the body’s natural biological function of creating sensations. These sensations are our immune system to keep out the bad and bring in the good. However, emotional misfires of both unconscious and conscious memories that our bodies perceive as traumatic can alter the way we view the world and how we create and maintain relationships. This workshop will explore the science behind CRM and explore three of the wellness skills.
