Theory and Practice of Recovery

This training connects concepts of trauma to addiction and feelings of shame by exploring Adverse Childhood Experiences. Peers will learn how to integrate these concepts into their practice certified peer support specialists in an effort to empathize and apply compassion within a professional context.
