Mental Health First Aid Training at UNC Chapel Hill
 

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour training that focuses on the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as CPR training helps a layperson without medical training assist an individual following a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid training helps a layperson assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

 

 

 

Training Title:  
Adult Mental Health First Aid Blended Training


Training Dates & Times:
October 12th- 9:00am – 3:30pm


November 26th- 9:00am – 3:30pm

December 3rd-4th:
12/3- 9:00am –12:00pm
12/4- 9:30am – 12:30pm


This training will be a blended course module. There will be 2 hours of prework, and then a 6 hour live virtual session. 

 

Audience
This training is open to any person looking to take the MFHA curriculum outside of UNC Chapel Hill students, faculty, and staff. If you are a UNC Chapel Hill student faculty or staff member please visit here to get connected with a training. 

 

Training Max Capacity: 30 

Registration fee:
$150 per person (training materials and certificate included)
