12/07/2020 Case Management/Treatment Options for Problem Gabling

This presentation will compare and contrast treatment options for those with gambling problems and affected individuals. This will include certified/licensed counselors, outpatient/individual therapy, intensive outpatient programs, residential/impatient programs, hybrid programs, government-funded programs and 12-Step programs. The presentation will then focus on case management concepts of setting/monitoring goals and objectives. The presentation will conclude with continuing/aftercare planning and descriptions of the tools to maintain abstinence from gambling including: aftercare work sheets, 12 step meetings, other support groups, sponsorship, recovery coaching, additional therapy, financial tools, family recovery services, self-exclusion, and internet tools.
