06/22/2021 Personal Story: Lifestyle of a Recovering Gambler

The effects of psychological trauma can last long after physical injury heals. Some of these effects can include the development of irrational thoughts and actions that were originally designed to protect against further harm. However, these patterns can also provide signposts to healing pathways.  In this presentation we will discuss CBT applications in trauma-informed care environments to help clients manage their responses to traumatic stress and techniques.
