This course will present the fundamentals of substance use through a social, psychological, and biological lens. You will learn about evidence-based interventions like medication and harm reduction as well as strategies for helping people who use drugs navigate housing and tenancy.

- Describe the disparate impacts of substance use across groups
- Define more than one evidence-based practice for the treatment of substance use
- Describe strategies for working through challenging tenancy situations that sometimes arise with substance use
