Training Description:
Explore strategies to break the stigma of therapy in men. This session equips mental health professionals with insights and practical tools to engage male clients, challenge traditional notions of masculinity, and foster inclusive, strength-based therapeutic practices.
Identify key cultural or psychological factors that contribute to men’s resistance toward seeking therapy.
Describe how traditional masculine norms influence emotional expression and help-seeking behaviors among male clients.
Demonstrate two or more strategies for building rapport and increasing engagement with male clients in therapeutic settings.
