This course will provide a high-level overview and refresher on essential components of effective Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs. The trainers will review evidence-based practices for providing tenancy support services throughout the phases of PSH as well as discuss challenges and strategies to navigate those challenges.
Learning Objectives
- Overview of Psychiatric Rehabilitation/Recovery and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) principles and practices as critical elements of CST/PSH.
- Review the Three Phases of PSH: Pre-Tenancy, Move-In and Ongoing Tenancy and Supports and interventions at each stage.
- Review the framework to utilize in each PSH phase: Assessment, Person-Centered Planning, Best Practices for Intervention, and Staff Skill Sets Necessary to Successfully Support Persons during Each Phase of PSH.
