Overview

This online, self-paced course introduces key concepts and skills of Motivational Interviewing (MI). Participants will explore the spirit, core skills, and guiding principles of MI through interactive activities and real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, learners will be able to apply MI techniques to:

  • Strengthen collaboration
  • Evoke motivation 
  • Support meaningful behavior change
Delivery
This course consists of 5 online, self-paced learning modules, each approximately 1 hour in length, a learning assessment, and a course evaluation.
