Person-centered Recovery Planning (PCRP) is one tool that the mental health system uses to assist people in pursuing their unique vision of recovery. This handout explains the value of PCRP and shares information about what it might look like in both a collaborative PCRP meeting and a collaboratively created recovery plan. Specific roles and responsibilities of family members, and other chosen natural supporters, are noted so that they can be better oriented how best to support a person when they are invited to participate in the PCRP process.
