Decades of research supports that psychological treatment significantly reduces gambling behavior and gambling harm. However, reductions in behavior and harm are significantly associated with how much treatment is attended. This webinar will review the status of the research on treatment effectiveness, describe how premature discontinuation is associated with treatment effectiveness, and identify concrete strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
